this is my exercise entry for . for those of you who don't know they hold an exercise for it's members to strenthen there artistic abilities. this exercise was to compare what you use to do back then vs. how your art is now. so i found an old pic of my character Juni from 2004 when i first started using Photoshop/Gimp or even getting into DeviantArt for that matter.
So... I personally think this is a great display of how much stronger i became with Proportion, Colors, Color Selection, Shading, Lineart and the biggest of all would be patience. i couldn't stand how long it would take to finish a piece back then... which is probally what made me rush and not care about mistakes or shading for that matter. quite amazing how time and experience go hand and hand huh?
